The run starts at 9:10am. Timing anklets will be available at the north side beach area. Please remember as a runner, you may encounter slower Aquathlon participants an the trail. Please use caution.


Course

The 10km run course is 2 loops of the 5km course. Distance markers will be set at every kilometre.

Watch for directional signage on the trail.


Important Safety Notes

  • The trails for the most part have two distinct paths. Unless you are passing, stay to the right hand side at all times. There is a portion of the trail that will have two way traffic. Use extreme caution when passing in this area as there is the possibility of other runners coming the opposite way.

  • Gravel surfaces, especially on descents needs to be treated with extreme caution. This race includes a 200m down hill gravel section. Participants must exercise good judgment regarding their speed here.

Please note: trail running shoes are advised. Although most of the terrain is flat and level, there is significant elevation gain in KM 1 and decent on KM 5.
