Aquathlon Long, Standard & Super Sprint Events
COURSE NOTES

Aquathlon Long & Standard have an in water start

Super Sprint Athletes Start on pathway near finish line
-
Course may be modified depending on weather conditions & water temperature on the day

The pathway has been booked for this event and pedestrians will be discouraged from using it, however it is still open to the public.
-
There are (3) road crossings which are controlled by volunteers. Please be aware of any vehicles passing through and stay safe.

Youth 8-11 Aquathlon

COURSE NOTES

In water start
-
100m linear swim on outside of swim buoy course in shallow water behind swim rope.
-
Youth 8-11 Course is slightly shorter than the adult loop.
-
Course may be modified depending on weather conditions & water temperature on the day

The pathway has been booked for this event and pedestrians will be discouraged from using it, however it is still open to the public.

Parents may help with swim

Swimmers may wear life jackets

Swimmers are encouraged to get in and test the water temperature prior to event start.

Transition Flow
(Long, Standard & Super Sprint Aquathlon
COURSE NOTES
-
For the run-swim-run event, it is critical that athletes enter and exit on the correct side of transition.
-
Bins will be placed on the centre line of transition and will be accessible from either side of the transition (run-in swim-out)
-
Athletes must use the same bin on each transition
